Policies:
Resisting ICE – Immigrants form the backbone of DC and this country. ICE is a paramilitary organization that breaks up families, oppresses free people, and harms our way of life. Rami will work with the new Janeese Lewis George administration to resist ICE invasions in our neighborhoods, demand that MPD stop working with ICE, and promote civilian watch organizations that help us resist this takeover by the federal government.
Rat Control – Rats are a threat to our pets, communities, and housing. Rami will tackle this by promoting safe pest control methods that do not abuse and brutalize these animals. He will fight to upgrade our street trash cans to be rat proof, destroying burrows and installing metroKEY composting bins on our streets that will help cut down on food waste that attracts rats, by cleaning up and modernizing our trash pickup, we can take care of the rat problem at the root.
Constituent Services – Have inconsistent trash pick or street sweeping? Reach out Rami, he will work tirelessly with our local officials and institutions to provide you with quality public services that are the foundation of any city. He wants to work with you to make better neighorhoods for all.
Other Policies:
- I completely support DC statehood. No taxation without representation.
- I support the building of new housing across our SMD, Ward 1, and DC. More housing lowers rent for all and makes life more affordable.
- If there is to be a free DC, there must be a free Palestine. No exceptions.
